In Tel Aviv-Yafo the most open door is the ChessBar series: on Tuesday evenings it takes over Masaryk Wine & Flowers on King George Street, alternating a rapid tournament with a Meet & Play night. Registration goes through the series' WhatsApp community, there is an entry fee that includes a first drink, and its pages say beginners are welcome.
The municipality presents the Chess House community centre in the Tagore garden, Neve Avivim, as a focus for chess study and competition; the municipal club is registered at Tagore 26, and no page says whether the two share a building. Beyond the city, the registered clubs of Gush Dan play their rounds in community centres and halls, the Nathan Blumkin memorial draws a crowd to Kfar Saba, and Reichman University held a student championship in Herzliya in January of both 2025 and 2026.
